This Privacy Policy explains how the Developer collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use the EzBillGuru software. The Developer is an individual software author and provides the Software primarily for testing, educational and small business use.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Software, we may collect:
- Account and contact information — names, email addresses, phone numbers you provide when creating accounts or adding customers/vendors.
- Business data — invoices, products, stock counts, tax or compliance data you store in the Software.
- Technical data — server logs, IP addresses, error reports, and usage metrics (for debugging and improving the Software).
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain the Software and its features.
- To send transactional emails (verification, notifications) if you opt in.
- To diagnose, fix bugs, and improve performance.
- To comply with legal obligations when required.
3. Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell personal data. The Software may call third-party services (SMTP providers, analytics, map APIs) if you configure them. Use of those services is governed by their privacy policies and you should review them before enabling integrations.
4. Data Retention
Data you enter into the Software is retained until you delete it or the account is terminated. As the user and operator, you are responsible for backups and retention policies unless you agree otherwise with the Developer under a separate commercial agreement.
5. Security
The Developer will undertake reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in the Software (see Security page for details). However, the Developer does not guarantee absolute security. It is your responsibility to secure your deployment, enforce strong passwords, use HTTPS, and keep backups.
6. Your Choices & Rights
- You may access, correct or delete your account data by using the Software interface or by contacting the Developer.
- If you operate the Software for others (e.g., service), you must comply with applicable privacy obligations and obtain necessary consents.
7. Children
The Software is not directed to children under 13. The Developer does not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy. The effective date will be updated and we encourage you to review this page periodically.
